Things have been busy. We are preparing cars for the 2009 season in our Midget Stable at Ballinger Racing. We have also been busy putting everything together for the new site! (www.tylershoemaker.com) The TSR (www.tylershoemakerracing.com) site will stay up as well.
My younger brother Austin will be driving our National Breast Cancer Foundation© Sprint Car for the 2009 season. Austin will be competing mainly in Illinois over the summer.
We renewed our relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation©. We are working with Bill and Kim West at Morgan County Speedway organizing another NBCF© Night. We are extremely excited to have them [NBCF] back on with us this year and hope to continue our efforts for years to come.
It looks as if we will start off the Midget portion with POWRI at the Sothern Illinois Center (Indoors-Duquoin,IL). March 28th [Saturday] is the date. We recently had our Mopars rebuilt and are looking forward to getting the power in our dirt car.
Brandon will be wrenching on the Midgets again this year. We have studied a lot over the Winter and we are looking forward to working together again. We both know what one-another is looking for, which helps tremendously at the race track. My Father [Bill] will foresee Austin’s Sprint Car efforts.
